Come Here

From time to time songwriters get stuck in the mania of writer's block, which can be endlessly frustrating. During one of these "blocked" times, Ray suggested to Whitney that she pick up a ukelele and try to write with a new instrument to find inspiration. Never having played the instrument before, Whitney went home, learned three chords, and started writing "Come Here". They finished it together shortly after and now they joke that while most would never consider the uke a "sexy" instrument, it sure helped them write a "sexy" song. "Come Here" is a sultry song about a love vixen trying to lure in a hesitant male.

Come Here

Acke-Adams

come here let me whisper something sweet honey, in your cheek
come here let me give you just a tiny taste of what you need

a little bit of bitter, mixed in with no control
a little more than what you want, unlike anything you've known

come here let me kiss you honey nice and gently, on your ear
oh, take it slow
come here take a listen to the music honey, don't be scared
i'm letting go

a reckless addiction with a side of lustful words
it'll only take a moment, sit back and watch me work

come here let me show you just a little something, i've not shown
i feel your heat
come here let me make you a believer honey, make you moan
Your killing me

combination of a lady, with a secret sexy side
unexpected spontaneity, lay back and close your eyes

open up your mind, unleash your soul. something don't feel right, i should go
but, we can't fight it

come here let me whisper
something sweet honey, in your cheek
come here let me give you just a tiny taste of what you need
